Vision Board Workshop for Dreamers, Girlfriends & Wives

This Black Doll Affair is open to Black Dolls & Community Dolls hue are dreamers, girlfriends and wives!

As in, it's TIME for FUN at Ray's!

Ah the nostalgia of Stacey Lattisaw & Johnny Gill singing "Perfect Combination..."

If my memory serves me properly, I believe Mama was in middle school when this song came out. At that time, I was secretly in love with a handsome football player named Michael! Michael didn't choose me for his PERFECT COMBINATION. Back in those days ya Mama wasn't the fox she is today! So, instead, he chose a cute and perky cheerleader. Together they looked PICTURE Perfect! Speaking of Picture Perfect Couples ...

In the real world, your relationship may look good on picture paper, but can hue say it's close to PERFECT? Like Stacey are you singing, "We couldn't ask for any better?" If you're partner isn't PERFECT and you're not perfect, {Although I must say, you're as close to perfection as anyone can be...after all, you're a Black Doll} can you create relationship perfection? Or, something close to that most sought after term???

Mrs. Lakia Brandenburg, author of the book "Picture Perfect" BELIEVES the answer to this question is YES! She believes it, because she:

Dreamed it!

Created it!

Framed it!

How'd she do it?

Lakia says she pinned her DREAM life on a Vision Board, then began to do the work to create it the vision. When her dream life, as a wife appeared, she framed it into "Picture Perfect" - an autobiography about her single journey into love and through love, as a wife. Having successfully navigated her desires into fruition, today via her trademark Picture Perfect Vision Board Workshops, Lakia speaks to audiences on how to get "there" using her trademark theme of : "Dream it! Create it! Frame it!"

At Ray's on the River, in a talk show style format that leads into audience discussion and finally a vision board workshop to post your picture perfect dreams, join Mama Doll & author Lakia Brandenburg for a FunRAYser sure to get hue focused on your dreams!

PLUS, in honor of Black Philanthropy Month, our Porcealin Pals over at Ray's are celebrating hue Dolls with a signature drink! Be there as Ray's Bartenders unveil Mama Doll's Moonshine Martini!

A word to hue about VISION Boards from Lakia

"Black Dolls, it's time to dream big and create a life of purpose. Vision boards are today’s premiere visual representation of how we see our dreams in reality. In Lakia's hands-on, interactive workshop, you'll “write the vision” and physically create it by following a three-step vision board process. Let your vision board serves as a blueprint of where you are and where you're headed. Fill your board with positive affirmations, declarations and vivid images, and prayers that capture the great plans God has in store for your life." - Lakia

The life chapters (categories) that your board will reflect:

Business & Finance! Faith & Spirituality! Health & Wellness! Relationship & Love!

As dollfriends, to create a blue-print of our dreams,

let's gather together for another fun and bonding Black Doll Affair!

We'll TALK About:

Finding Love ..perhaps after kissing too many frogs!

This  workshop is about finding YOU perhaps after being a "TWO"

Letting go of the fantasy of "Mr./Mrs. Right!

Learning to be in your relationships functionally!

Managing the ideas of a perfect union - married or not.

Managing Negative flawed perceptions about being a girlfriend or wife.

Let's get you educated on your roles of commitment, so that the bond doesn't just look  picture perfect, but has been perfected!

Good Morning Dolls!!!! Lakia and I are so excited about hosting you and your dollfriends at tomorrow's Vision Board Workshop! As The Ray's on The River Team prepares for us, based on our RSVP head count, if you're no longer going to make this Affair, to avoid accumulating NO SHOWS on your profile, please go in now and update your RSVP to Not Going. We understand completely that plans change, but what we cannot dig is being inconsiderate towards the party hostess by not updating your RSVP to Not Going. Please be classy, dolling and b'huetiful and do the right thing if you're not going to attend. Also, so that you full understand this Affair, on the event page, please read to the bottom before you get there. Guests and Doll guests are asked to "Be a Doll, give a doll - bring a toy black doll for donation. This is going to be fun! All the details are at:
