Girl Scouts of Atlanta on The Black Doll Affair...
Good Morning Mrs. Hill. We thank you for having such a giving and caring heart. That
Black Doll Affair Girl Scouts Tween Summit
was just what the girls and adults needed. We may not have had 100 girls, but I truly believe the girls that were supposed to be there were there. I could not have fathomed that girls would actually break down and I think that’s what made it an intimate and spiritual setting. I’m glad we did not have an auditorium full, because some of the girls may not have felt comfortable sharing. I truly look forward to working with you. I’m going to work over the summer to get some of our middle and high schools on board for the upcoming year. I plan on being in attendance and also inviting some Girl Scout’s to attend your fashion show on the 5th of May. I pray your organization and social movement continues because girl’s definitely need it. This is only the beginning and I see The Black Doll Affair going global; everyone can learn from those who have been through and persevered through. I’ll be in touch. Thanks so much! You guys rock! P.S Can you send me any video or
you have from the summit. Thanks and have a
