One spring I planted a fig tree. 3 almost harvested. 2- squirrels. 1- me. :) do you have a secret to cultivating/ growing them? Thanks.

Hi Hugh, Thanks for running this group. I'm new to town and if you're looking for someone to tag along on an outdoor adventure let me know. I'd love to get out mushroom hunting this spring. Do Morels grow around here? I'm sad to be missing the season back home.

Thanks for the tip about drying the knotweed, Hugh. I harvested some for the first time this year, my wife and I made a strawberry knotweed pie. Do you know if it freezes well, or does it just turn to mush? Matteuccia crowns I've seen out towards Lansdale within the past few days are bulging, looks like they'll be starting soon.

I work out of Whitesbog as part of a program for Burlington County College and as a naturalist for one of the wildlife refuges. I've been to Parker a few times and I have to say it's really nice.

Hugh, Just found this group. Noticed you were doing a primitive trapping demo today, sorry I missed it. I'm looking forward to participating with this group in the near future. Had some classes at Tracker and Practical Primitive, and am a team-member of Tracker SFI. I live in Bryn Mawr, so I thought I'd say "hi"

Thanks alot for the welcome, im so glad i found this website and this particular group. I am looking forward to the insectarium! As far as traps i know this one place that offers instruction on trapping/tracking etc maybe you could get into contact with them.
