Vicky - I am also a kayaker but now I'm the ruthless Boat Czarina for the Schuylkill Dragons. If you're a kayaker, you will love dragon boating! You will definitely develop the arms. But dragon boating is a lot of cardio and technique so strength is secondary. The nice shoulders and arms come naturally as you become a better athlete. If you can kayak, you can dragon boat!
