Introduction

Hi everyone, Sounds like you're have a nice group, I'm looking for more opportunities to get on the water with other folks who enjoy being outdoors. I've been playing outdoors my whole life, hiking, bicycling, canoeing and now kayaking.

What types of water do you like to paddle? (flatwater, rivers, open water, whitewater, etc)

Anything, but most of my real white water was in a canoe. In the kayak have only done up to class one. I kayak a lot in the Bay doing a little fishing

What skill level are you? (beginner, intermediate, advanced)

intermediate

Do you own your own boat(s), and if so what types?

Yes 12' Kayak, Wilderness Paminco, 16' canoe, Old Town Panobscott

When are you normally free to paddle?

Most days, I dont work too much these days.

Hi Tom! Thanks, sorry, but I just read your message regarding hiking boots. Thanks for the info! I am attending a Backpacking and Hiking class / info session this Saturday so I could learn more about hiking and what kind of stuff to use and buy. I'd love to try hiking one day...I guess Fall is the best time to start! See you one of these days. =) Christine
