Wicca 2 + Sabbats Classes

Join us for the next insallment of our three-part Firefly Wicca class series! Wicca 2 will go beyond our basic religious foundations and focus on ritual dynamics, magick theory, shadow work, and the nature of the soul. After a break mid-way, we'll begin the sabbats class where you'll learn about the 8 sabbats of the Craft and specifically how our tradition celebrates them.

If you didn't get to take Wicca 1, you can still come to this class and then take Wicca 1 next time its offered. You can also "test out" of Wicca 1 upon approval if you have good prior experience with Wicca in some form. Either way, Wicca 2 and beyond must be taken in person, so don't miss out!

Hi David, That's good to know but would have been better to know in opposed to after the fact. A notice in the Meetup description to the effect of "if you're late, don't bother to come since we won't answer the door" would have been both helpful and appreciated! Had something to that effect been said in advance (since life got in my way and I was running behind) I would not have expended either the time or the money to travel to Virginia on Sunday. Just something to consider for the next time you do this.

Hi Nancy, I was in the class on Sunday. We waited quite a while before starting because Courtney was concerned that people coming late might be confused due to the store being closed. Once we did begin the upstairs door of the classroom was kept open so we could hear late comers knock. We honestly did not hear any knocking.

How was the Meetup? Well, I wouldn't know...I showed up (unavoidably late but I also came some distance to get there and did post here that I was going to be late but was on my way), I knocked on the door multiple times and there was no answer. If I may offer a suggestion to you all: if you're going to have a meeting at a storefront location which is closed for the day, perhaps a small note could be posted with a cell phone number for people to call to gain admittance.

      Hey there Nancy-
Thanks for trying to come and I'm sorry you couldn't make it. But good to note for future that the Wicca 1-3 class series has a rather strict timeliness policy, as all of the material covered is vital for the series and there's no time for the folks teaching to go back over things.

We do have the series twice a year though so keep an eye out for the next go around.

Hi David, unfortunately I am not going to be able to make the class. My family has decided last minute to travel for the Easter holiday. I am so sorry I will have to miss it. But I very much look forward to the next Firefly meet up. :)

Not likely that I will be able to attend since this falls on Easter, which I usually spend at my grandparents' house... but we will see.
