(Note that this Sunday we will not be meeting at Merlin's Rest at 5pm - instead we are having this special event - hope to see you there!)
Join host Arielle Taylor & I for a wonderful holiday brunch at the beautiful Woman's Club of Minneapolis!
Prominent Anarcho-Feminist Nik Ludwig will share the history of some of the most courageous, wealthy, and independent women in the 1800's, who not only helped build civilization throughout the American West but also were influential in fighting for women's right to own property in their own name, marry and divorce whomever they pleased, defend themselves against violence and represent themselves in legal matters, not to mention to wear whatever clothing, makeup and perfume they desired. These women have rarely been acknowledged, much less thanked, for their ground-breaking acts in the defense of women's rights.
We'll be meeting in the Library Room - check it out! - http://www.womansclub.org/club/scripts/library/view_document.asp?CLNK=1&GRP=12276&NS=WED&DID=81894&APP=80
