Ted Talk and Discussion: How to Make the Work-Life Balance Work

Join us for an inspiring TED talk followed by a thoughtful conversation about making the work-life balance work.

This month's Ted Talk speaker is Nigel Marsh, author of "Fat, Forty and Fired" and "Overworked and Underlaid." He's the Regional Group CEO of Young and Rubicam Brands for Australia & New Zealand. In 2005 he came second last in the Bondi to Bronte ocean race.

**Breathe On9 is also happening all over the Ninth Square immediately following our TED Talk. Come for the discussion and stay downtown for the evening. Click here to learn more about this event.**

"Despite the massive amounts of literature dedicated to achieving work/life balance, there is really only life (unless people at work are actually zombies!). Why not use games to make life at work as enjoyable as possible?" http://self-managementinstitute.org/

Agreed. It's all about loving life.... Sometimes that's easier than other times!!! Guess that's why I will be there. :-)

Looking forward, and here's my bias: "Despite the massive amounts of literature dedicated to achieving work/life balance, there is really only life (unless people at work are actually zombies!). http://self-managementinstitute.org/

Found out I have to work until 5p. Probably going to be at least forty minutes late.
