Business Breakfast Series: Crowdfunding

Murtha Cullina Attorney's at Law present The Business Breakfast Series.  This seminar is designed to explore crowdfunding - The SEC has recently released proposed regulations that would open the floodgates to true equity crowdfunding in the United States.  Citizens of all income levels will gain the ability to invest in private companies in a manner not seen before in the United States since the creation of our current securities system.  We will clear up any confusion you may have about what “crowdfunding” is, how the new regulations work, and what this means to you as a business, investor or service provider.

Main focus was large "stock issue" deals, and The Grove audience more likely small to mid-size non-equity type deals. Otherwise would get a 5.

Very informative session. In general, I liked the setting at the Grove. I look forward to more events there.

Some good and useful info. The equity crowdfunding may not be a good fit for our arts group but the slide towards the end of the deck listing the elements of a successful crowdfunding campaign will be studied and discussed by our group.
