Scrum of One/1st workshop

How do artists work as a cross-functional team in one headspace? What can artists teach software developers about project management? Can we build a cognitive map across the two domains? Why is New Haven such a kick-ass place to hash out these big ideas? Come hear what Elinor Slomba, a certified scrum master and artful entrepreneur, is preparing to bring to Agile India, a global technology conference in Bangalore where she'll present "Scrum of One," a featured session on the Beyond Agile track, March 1, 2014. How far "beyond?" Well, that's in part up to you...this collective preparation will make our work integrating business and creative goals more visible.

We'll workshop Scrum of One on two consecutive Tuesdays after Social Media Sync. Each workshop day stands as a complete iteration, however coming to both means getting (and helping to build!) the complete story. Whether you have deep insight to share or are simply curious, any busy creator will leave with tips and suggestions to improve the process of managing creative projects and getting them "Done!"

Special thanks to the Independent Software team creating TaskCloud9, and to the Visual Artists Advisory Group of the Arts Council of Greater New Haven.  For more info and the opportunity to sponsor the project, kindly visit my blog, stories at the interstices of art, business and agility:
