About the Tao te Ching

The Tao Te Ching ranks with the Bible as one of the most translated books of all time. This is all the more amazing when you consider that it achieves this status without the active promotion of religious institutions. Its widespread popularity throughout history is due to its own merits.

At first glance, the Tao Te Ching may not seem very remarkable. It is a thin book; its eighty-one chapters are so concise that most of them do not fill an entire page. Somehow, its succinct words manage to contain a universe of wisdom and insight.

If you need directions, here is a webpage with a map and more specific info is below…

The SunDo-Taoist Center is located at 45 South Main Street, West Hartford 06107.
Once you are on S. Main street, our building is across from the Town Hall ( a large brick building with columns) and next to a small Dunkin Donuts. Our building is a beige-colored three-story building with evergreen bushes planted on a ledge around the first floor.
At the front of the parking lot, there is an green oval sign with a gold # 45 and the building itself is at the back of the lot. Even though the parking spaces have assigned names, it is OK to park in any space on the weekends or after 6 pm.
After entering through the front doors, go down the stairs and follow the signs to suite 090.
If you have any trouble locating us, please call the center number at[masked]

Hi Christine, George and I RSVP's for the July 14 Event. However, being on call for the Crisis Team means that George would need to leave the lecture to answer phone calls. His phone would be on silent/vibrate. Would leaving the group to answer calls be disruptive to the group?

Not a problem. He can sit closer to the door and go out into the hallway if he gets a call.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
