Do you (or have you in the past) provided holistic health therapeutic services?

We share with our class attendees how we got into our life style, how we stuck with it, the benefits we have gained from it. We stress the importance of always having something healthy on hand as to not be tempted to go for the poorer food choices just because they are handy and easy to obtain. We show how juicing vegetables and fruits provide healthy stimulation which in the past were provided by coffee and refined sugar. We discuss the important value of vegetable greens and show how we have used nuts and grains and seeds to replace using dairy items such as milk, yogurt, cheese and eggs. We show videos at our classes, and share our ideas about authors who have guided us. And most of all, there is nothing like a hands on preparation class. One can watch and read all the books and videos they wish, but there is nothing like experiencing a hands on chance to be part of the preparation and get the feel of the Raw Living Vegan kitchen. Simply put, we are sharing our life's experiences

What type of holistic therapy do you practice professionally?

We practice what we preach. Drinking a lot of fluids, walking, bicycling , swimming, reading food labels, eating fresh vegetables and fruits and knowing their source. Eating and array of those products instead of concentrating on just a few. Paying attention to the not so reliable information from the FDA and USDA. Sorting out information available about Genetic Engineering. Sharing how we have dealt with social situations, including family, friends, coworkers, weddings, banquets, holiday and other events. We share ideas on how to deal with a family situation when some eats one way and some eat the other, and how we respond when we are asked why we do it. We share how enjoyable it is to learn how to forage and bring home that harvest and incorporate it into our diet. We share how there is not one right way, but more so that there is a good direction to head. We prefer to use the term knowlegable as opposed to professional

Raw and Living Food Vegans, teaching classes on food preparation and healthy eating. Including using foraged products. We also ferment and dehydrate and have refined preparation techniques including using both power and hand tools
