The Group Camping.

The dates are Friday, May 9th through Monday, May 12th at Rodman Campground. We currently have three sites reserved. Each site will accommodate two tents and two vehicles. You will need to indicate your arrival and departure dates so they can be reserved.  I’ll reserve more campsites as more people RSVP. The campsites are primitive sites with no electric or water. There is a bathhouse nearby with flush toilets and showers. There is water available at the entrance to the primitive area. The cost per campsite is $12.00 per night. Please copy Rhonda at [masked] to reserve a campsite. Rodman also has full facility camping for those with RVs. The Hoffmans plan to stay for one week and welcome anyone wanting to camp for a longer period of time.

Good fun, great company and fabulous food! It was good to spend time with everyone. We are so sorry about Roxy's ankle! Next time we camp when the yellow flies are either exterminated or chewing on others in some other part of the country!

What a fantastic outing & learning experience! Kevin's matchless fire, Ann's edible plants, and everyone's Dutch oven cuisine was second to none. :-)

We had fun and it was good to see Roxy participate. She is on the shy side. Our guests also liked the group and had fun. Roxy's ankle is broken.

Not at Rodman but the Salt Springs Recreation Area is only a few miles away. The springs have a swimming area. That may be a good place to cool off!!

Thanks for posting rules Jim! All the reservations are in my name, Rhonda Hoffman. Wayne and I are going up tomorrow and I'll give a list of names and campsites to the park attendants. Potable water is available at the entrance to the primitive camping area. Bring your containers. The bathhouse is not far but there is no electric at the campsites. It's going to be hot! Highs in the high 80s and low 90s. Lows in the high 60s. There is a 30% chance of rain on Sunday. There is a boat ramp and I hear good fishing! Looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday!

It's going to be a fun and informative weekend! I'm looking forward to the fellowship. We still have 1 tent sites available that will accommodate two tents. We also have two sites that, so far, have only one tent booked. That means we space for four more tents. Please let everyone know if they are planning to attend and have not sent an RSVP to do so soon. I need to cancel any unused camp sites. Thanks all, Rhonda
