Let's take a free trial music or baby sign language class!

Hi Mommies--
Thank you for expressing your interest in signing with your babies! This session will be our class for little babies (not walking) and limited to just 10 babies w/  parents, so please update your RSVP accordingly if this isn't you. I will plan a TODDLER class next time at a more appropriate time for that age group. This time should be perfect for babies still napping in the AM.

Baby Sign Language Basics™
Babies 6 mos – walking
$125 per each 6-week session(FIRST CLASS FREE FOR THIS GROUP!)
Free book with over 300 signs for new students! (only available to paying attendees)

Baby Sign Language Basics™ jump-starts communication through a fun combination of American Sign Language, music, and playtime. The 12 weekly parent-child classes (offered as two 6-week sessions), includes a weekly parent lesson and engaging baby/ toddler participation activities. Each week, families will learn both signs for daily routines and signs for fun things that motivate babies to communicate.
To lay the best foundation for successful communication we recommend families attend all three sessions consecutively. Families may start in any session.
Come prepared to learn, have fun, and make new friends!

We had a lovely class here at Baby Garten today, planned specially for your group, but only one of you (you rock Natalie!) showed up, even though the class was full according to your RSVPs. Not even the organizer showed up!:(
Please realize that even when a class is free to you, it does, of course, cost the business-owner money to provide it to your group, as we have to pay the instructor. Also not so fair to your fellow group member who thought she'd see at least some of you here.:(

I'm sorry that this happened. However, I think that the issue lies in the way meetup set up these events. Everyone that is listed here in attending was part of a group that said they were interested in taking a trial class somewhere. They were automatically enrolled as having RSVP'd when you set up this class. I did not even know about this class until I received this notice, so I am assuming we are all in the same boat. Again I am sorry, but it was unintentional.

      Hi Ria,
Please remember to change your RSVP to "not going" to open a space for another family.:)

Hi ladies this is a small group class designed to provide plenty of personal attention so there is very limited space. If you do not plan on joining us, either because your baby is less than six months old or because your plans have changed, please change your RSVP to "not going".
    Thanks!:)

Hi Ria, yes he is much too young for this class. The minimum age for this class is six months (mommies-- please read class description above).

I've been teaching this class for 13 years so don't worry it will still be around when he reaches six months.:)
It's never too early to start using a few simple signs at home.
If you want to start early and need guidance you can buy my book at So Childish boutique in South Park are most other bookstores. Also through www.babysignlanguagebasics.com or Amazon.
Also available at the libraries, but most parents find they need to have their own copy for reference.

I can do a Baby Sign Language Parent Workshop for those of you with very young babies or for parents still expecting. However, what was requested here was "a trial baby sign class", which would be a baby sign class with toys and music.

I'm happy to invite your group to free baby sign language demo, as I mentioned below, but so far only two have expressed interest. I have these demos regularly and will be happy to invite this group if I hear from more of you on what kind of class you want-- for parents or for babies. Just let me know.: )

I can offer you the Baby Sign Language class at Baby Garten Studio in South Park. Either a Baby Signing Storytime event for parents with older babies and toddlers, or a one-hour workshop teaching how to get started for expecting and brand-new parents. Let me know if you are interested in doing this with me at my location by emailing me via my profile here.
