Why do you love what you do?

I've been fascinated with the ability of the human body to rehabilitate and develop itself since I was 14 years old. Every day I get to use my knowledge and experience helping others recapture abilities lost to things like injuries and aging. The only thing more rewarding than pursuing my own achievements, has been watching those I work with discover new potential. I get to do this every day, with good people, in beautiful environments. It doesn't get any better than that.

Why should someone choose you over your competition?

I provide exercise at your level, with the effectiveness of a professional. I am one of the rare athletes who has performed at the elite level, yet enjoys stepping back and having a look at the fundamentals essential to both healthy movement and high level performance. I have a comprehensive understanding of human function, development and rehabilitation through formal education and a large variety of successful experiences. And most importantly I can relate to the challenges my clients face because I started my "physical career" imbalanced, uncoordinated and devoid of any athletic prowess. My perspective affords me the curiosity, empathy and patience to make it all about those I help. Rather than dictate the way, I guide my clients on an effective path, allowing them to make their own discoveries. This way growth fuels motivation, and generates curiosity to explore new interests. Desirable body composition, positive mood and feeling good all follow naturally.

Tell me a powerful passionate story of a client you recently helped.

Last year a gentleman hired me to "whip his butt into shape". His ability to do the recreation he loved was spiraling downward. I took him on; but we first identified the limitations and habits that were causing his problems. I developed a comprehensive approach that complemented his existing lifestyle; including corrective posture exercises, bodywork, motor re-learning and recreation. In just a few weeks much of his pain resolved and he resumed physical conditioning, utilizing superior movement patterns. 8 months later he spent 10 days at high elevation, off trail in the backcountry with friends. He said it had been 20 years since he felt that good on a trip like this and his friends were amazed at his transformation from just the previous year. The 25 lbs he lost became a side story! ...I recently started working with his wife. In just two weeks she's gone from "I haven't been able to reach overhead for years" to an enthusiastic, "I might get back in the pool this summer!"

How can we help you grow your business in the next 12 months?

I am looking for middle aged people (40-70yrs) who want to live an active, healthy retirement, yet face a reality they are not on this path...AND who want to do something about it! It's not to late. I can help these people, make it fun and link them with an inclusive community of others who are pursuing the same.

Help others connect with you! What is your website, email address, phone number and office location (if you have one):, [masked], [masked]

I am a coach who shares fun and healthy experiences with inclusive people. We focus on the daily habits that form how we move and what we eat, so that our health develops from the inside, out.
