Samhain Ritual

The wheel has turned once again!

This year's ceremony will focus on Ancestor worship. I will be facilitating this ritual (Bernadette)

We will be working with the elements and the ancestors.  Everyone will be guided to work with each element.

Please bring a carved pumpkin with a small electric or tealight inside.  The pumpkins that are not taken home will be offered to the land.

We will also be working with trans-prophecy and bringing the Goddess Hecate in to honor us with her presence and to give us her advice she feels is needed for us to know.

There will also be an ancestor altar setup so please a picture of a loved one.

This is a serious ritual...please dress respectively-no costumes...not for young ones!

It would be great if everyone would bring a lawnchair or folding chair.

I am asking everyone (if you can) to paint (makeup) your face as a skull.

The Ritual was very interesting. I haven't had the honor of dealing with Lady Hecate. Until tonight! The words She spoke were very informative and inspiring! I look forward to seeing how things work out for next year! Happy New Year! Thanks to all those who prepared and set up this amazing Ritual!

    Happy Samhain!

For those of us who can't wear makeup (my skin would hate me for months if I painted it white) Michael's has a skull mask that you can paint and wear!

I may do the same because of he same issue Blithe! My skin would be broken out until next Samhain. Thanks for the suggestion.

Is anyone interested in going out after ritual?? We can find some place that is having a costume party etc... I know that this is a serious ritual but it might be fun to unwind afterwards and we will all be matching with in all our skully faced beauty!

Are they having a costume party??

      October 3, 2013

    • April

They will be once we arrive LMAO!

I have never been a big one for Halloween parties. I tend to spend Samhain communing with those of my ancestors who answer my call. Besides the community is having a costume party at the shop the nest day.
