As reported, the Clear Fork has obstructions that have yet to be cleared this season, creating safety issues.
I just got a call back from Mr. Lewis and he's advised they were only going to release the waters to[masked]cfs to accommodate the request of another group.
However, right now Paint Creek is running at 671cfs, so we're going to run the Paint instead.
We'll meet up at Water's Edge (the take-out) and head up to the put in at Blaine Highway. The trip is approximately 6 miles with a nice island half way where we'll stop and have lunch and have a fire if we want.
What to bring:
Lunch, fluids, dry bags, extra change of clothes, hat and sun screen.
The air temps should be in the low 60's, but keep in mind the water temps are still in the 40's. So dress for the water, not the air. If you can avoid wearing cotton, please do so.
Also, the picture above is during high water, so no need to be concerned for this trip.
