As suggested by Suha, we plan to paddle by two modes of transportation, kayaks and tubes; water levels permitting. We're also going to paddle the Kokosing two times in the same day taking out after about 3.5 miles at Route 36. At this point we'll shuttle back to the put in at Millwood and do it again. This 3.5 mile stretch proves to be more exciting with a Class I-ll at Factory Rapids to several Class I before take out. This stretch has been ran in canoes, kayaks and even tubes; so don't let your skill level hinder you from going. If people do decide to tube it, the tubes will obviously be slower so we'll be separated, therefore we'll designated meeting points along the way so we can all catch up.
What to bring:
2. extra dry clothes
3. plenty of fluids
We'll meet at the corner of 62 and 13 at 10:30 in Utica to continue our trip to the put in at Millwood. If you are coming from another direction entirely meet us at the put in at Millwood at 11:00. We should be able to launch by 11:30ish
