5 Course Sattvic Dinner @ Sattvam

A restaurant serving delicious designer vegetarian meals without the use of onion or garlic and all of it is Sattvic as well…..

The Bangalore Dine-Out Movement has been working closely with the chef to ensure that best of Sattvic cuisine is presented over an elaborate 5 course plated progressive meal ending with unlimited helpings to over 20 desserts at their dinner buffet.

About Sattvik Cuisine: Sattvic food is referred to as a ‘yoga diet’ – something that leads to clarity and equanimity of mind, while also being beneficial to the body. So the diet is rich in fresh and unprocessed food. These tenets of Sattvic cooking are reflected in Sattvam, where they develop food fresh everyday and use it up on a continuous basis. This ensures that ‘Ama’ or toxins are kept at bay. That is why leftover food is never used, as it is considered Tamasic (harmful to the body)

Cost: 1000 INR (all inclusive)

An exquisite dinner- well presented food, delicate flavors, innovative recipes (Guava & pomegranate gravy,..use of lime leaves, aloe vera, .. broccoli & apple soup.. to name a few!), served respectfully and complimented by a beautiful ambiance and wonderful conversations- what more could one want from a food meet up?? Thanks Simi & San for making this happen :-)

Wonderful! Was rather more taken with the starters than with the main course...the starters and the soup were *superbe*. More, more, more!
And a huge grazie to Simi, San and the rest of the organisers...you have a good group here, ladies!

We tasted most of their signature dishes.....I must admit that they have taken vegetarian cuisine to a higher platform. Loved the welcome drink...which I continued to help myself with throughout the event ;-)...loved the innovative starters....soup and rice was kinda OK....but the desserts lifted my mood again. on top of it there is a feel good factor about the healthy & humane methods of preparation!!
