One possible venue would be McNeill's Brewery, in Brattleboro. It has large tables ideal for gameplay and, if you catch it at the right time, it's nice and quiet. They're friendly to games (they have some board games of their own), so I suspect we'd be welcome.

I didn't know they had board games. Awesome!

Greenfield is a pretty good choice for me.

I live across the street from McNeill's and could talk to them and set something up. What day of the week is best for people? I would not mind organizing a monthly meetup here (or weekly if there is enough interest).

I'm up for it. Just can't do Mondays!

Hi Robert, that would be cool. I can work with you to announce the meetups through this meetup group if you like, and we'll see how it goes. By the way, are you able to make it to Greenfield on the 25th? It could be helpful in getting something off the ground.

The northampton area is better for me... Ultimately I just want to find a weekly (or bi-weekly) D&D game. I want to play, not DM.

I think I can make it, though I work an overnight shift that starts at 11pm up in Brattleboro. I could bring Small World, Fiasco! And a few others.

I would love to start doing somethings in Greenfield. The Pint is iffy for conversation, and Greenfield Games closes fairly early in my opinion. That being said, neither is out of the question if something is planned.

Another possibility is the movies at the Garden.

Would be up for Board Games, Role Playing Games, etc.

    Anyone else interested?

I wouldn't be able to make it on the 18th due to a prior commitment, but I might be able to stop in on the 25th. I'm hanging with a friends later in the night to do some nerding, but I could stop in for a bite and to say hi to those who show up.

is anyone interested in meeting at the People's Pint on Saturday Jan. 18, 5:00 pm? maybe we can discuss what kind of events we would like to do.

Can't make it for the 18th so I've scheduled it for the 25th at 5pm and chose one of the places you suggested.

Sounds good to me. Will know more from work this week about whether or not I can make it on that particular Saturday (it's when the newbies arrive, so not sure if I'm doing some orientation or not).

I'm in Orange, but I work in Greenfield, so I'm there regularly. I love both the Pint, Games, and the Garden for movies. I'd be interested in a possible meet up, especially over the next month as I'm off from school.

Frozen is playing every day this week at 12pm. 47 Ronin has more options for times. I've already seen The Hobbit-- slow moving, but still wicked good!

Greenfield is pretty convenient for me, and I might be interested in meeting for board games or a movie.

I'm interested in any gathering in greenfield, especially a movie or boardgame event.
