This mobbing has moved to Thursday - it has been planning to move for a while, but the mobbing just couldn't get itself sorted to update itself on the calendar. Bad mobbing.

The mobbing was a little concerned that it may feel a little worse for wear on New Years Day, plus it realised that there are still some night shelters open until New years day and thought it might be best if we all came out with it a little later in the week.

The mobbing apologises for any confusion it has caused and hopes to see us all on THURSDAY. Don't be too hard on it - it is a little fuzzy in the head from lots of wine and pie.

Where will you be mobbing?  Please remember to include your area of interest when you click on Count me in.

We hope to cover:

Waterloo - meet outside the McDonald's underneath the mainline station concourse

Strand - meet by McDonald's just along from Charing Cross tube on the Strand

Victoria meeting by WHSmiths inside Victoria mainline station

Old Street - meet inside Old Street tube at the bottom of the slope by exit 2 *** THIS MOBBING IS BACK ON THE REGULAR LIST NOW SO FEEL FREE TO SIGN UP!

Any suggestions for another venue where you know that there are people on the street?

We will have an experienced organiser/walker leading each group along a route in each of those areas and helping you break the ice with the people on the streets. Not at all obligatory to bring anything other than yourselves (but if you happen to have any socks, food or drink handy or anything else that the people on the street may appreciate then they're always welcome)

You are welcome to suggest a venue for the post mobbing drink and once we get closer to the event I will let you all know the final arrangements.

See you on THURSDAY at or just before 7pm,

Hello! I am been stationed at Old Street for this Thursdays sock mob. Would it be possible to swap and be placed in the Victoria area. (Sorry I forgot to request this area.) I work in this area so particularly wanted to Sock Mob there. Let me know if this is possible. Thanks a lot!

Hi Hon, yes we've been chatting to them, but last time they were all gone, so fingers crossed they've been helped now. And a couple of them have moved down to the McDonald's section. Can I remind the newcomers to note mine, Tom and Kierra's numbers and let one or both of us know as soon as possible if you are running late or not coming, as it saves wasted time in freezing stations waiting for people who are not coming (and it's not fair on them, either). Ta muchly X

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
