Game Day at the Y.

This event will be at the main YMCA building. If this is your first visit to the Y, please bring a picture ID and stop at the Welcome Center to sign in. Once you are in the system you will only need to check in each visit.

Bring any games that you want to play. If you want me to bring a particular game let me know. You can check out my collection on boardgamegeek.com, username: sdschlager.

I am obligated to play a game with Tom M and I want Mike L to teach me Steam. I'd also love to get some gaming in with our newer members.

Don't forget to follow us on facebook at:https://www.facebook.com/tabletoprevolution

Hope to see you there!

Not sure if I'm going to be able to make it this Saturday. I've got tons of yard-work to do, coupled with wedding related stuff. I'm gonna try and make it...might be able to get there a bit late.

Fourteen gamers and a lot of new faces. At least they were new to me. So, I would personally like to welcome Roger, Chris, Jeff, Sarah, Gregg, Steve and Athena. Thanks for coming.

On the 10th, I am committed to Twilight Struggle with Jeff. I also want to get that game of Steam in with Mike, Roger and Chris, so I will do my best to avoid a three hour game of Seasons. Thanks to everyone who helped set up and tear down and thanks to those who brought snacks.

Games played: Notre Dame, Thurn and Taxis, Forbidden Island, Dominion, Seasons, For Sale, Roll Through the Ages, Spiecherstadt, Takenoko, Star Flux and Suburbia.

Art, did you mean to say the 10th? Are you skipping the 3rd? My schedule is kind of uncertain over the next couple of weeks, actually, but I'll do my best to make it whenever.

I will be making an early appearance on the 3rd, but I can't make any commitments. I will be with Christy and we don't get to see each other much. If I change my schedule to first shift, I will probably be attending every Saturday. My wife always resists learning new games. So, I'm probably looking at some Love Letter/No Thanks followed by Ticket to Ride, Stone Age or Glass Road on the 3rd.

I'll be about a half hour late. I made some nice player aids for Steam. Do you want to jump right in @ 1:30?

I'm in. I'd be up for Steam, myself. Taking Art up on his offer, the following are all games off his list I'd like to learn/relearn/play:

    Belfort
    Bora Bora
    Glass Road
    El Grande
In the Year of the Dragon
    Macao
    Notre Dame
    Steam Park

Anybody else keen to try any in this list?

My collection doesn't quite rival Art's, but I seem to have a few popular Euros that he doesn't. Check me out on BGG as username=Corrino22 and let me know if there's anything you'd like me to bring.

That being said, I would like to play Steam this week and I think I see Twilight Struggle in my future with Jeff. I can commit to teaching and/or playing the rest of that list in the coming weeks. I just can't Euro-out every week. I should add that Geki likes Bora Bora, Glass Road and Macao. He is also a great teacher. I'm the only person I know that loves In the Year of the Dragon. Although, I think Lou enjoyed it.

No worries, Art. Just wanted to get the discussion going.

I'll be hella late. Stupid work is stupid. Figure a 3-4ish arrival.
