Good Mike is afraid to face me in Nexus Ops.

We will miss you until then. Good luck with everything. Evil Mike is there every week and he's ducking playing Steam with me.

While I am definitely not "ducking" playing Steam with you I must admit a victory that doesn't include me defeating your obvious collusion with Mike will feel a bit hollow. :-)

Another great day. The three extra hours were perfect. Twenty five total gamers. It was a pleasure to meet Janice and Matt for the first time.

Thanks to everyone who helped setup and breakdown. Thanks as well to those who brought and taught games. Thanks to Jeff for the game of Twilight Struggle.

Congratulations to Dan for winning the $10 prize in the 7 Wonders tournament. I wish Geki could have played the final round...I guess we'll never know. With the late arrivals and early departures, I don't really see a way of making this much more structured. I like the idea of an early round, a later round and a late night final. Anyone else have thoughts? I'd like to do more of these with some games that take less than an hour. Maybe some light games and the winner gets to keep the game. Games like No Thanks, Coloretto, Cheaty Mages, etc.

So will I... I slept really late. :(

I will be there later in the day, between 4-5pm. Shame I will miss the 7 wonders tournament.

That's fine Rob. I was thinking early, because its harder to match up times for everyone as the day goes on. I was pretty confident it would be a table early and another around five with the finals after that. We could actually be pushing 3 tables. So, you will be able to get in on it, whether we start the whole thing later or stagger, like Totalcon's different heats.

We will be running a 7 Wonders tournament for a $10 gift certificate to either Cool Stuff Inc or Amazon. Your choice. Base game. Experience not required.

What time would it be starting?

Earlier would be better. Around 2...3 at the latest.

Ah, looks like this won't be able to be my first week at this meet up. Next Saturday I guess.

Hey, Jeff (last name unknown). I think we switched phone cables last week. Swap back tomorrow?

Is there anything special needed for checking in at the Child Care Center? I have been to the Y but not the Center.

First timers still need to check in at the main building. You can just go to the child care center.
