They Shall Not Hurt or Destroy, my 2003 book on religion and animal rights, has been endorsed by Jewish and Christian clergy, and has received a very positive response from Christian vegetarians and vegans, of whom I have the deepest respect. Bruce Friedrich of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) wrote the preface, and the late Reverend Janet Regina Hyland (1933 - 2007), author, God's Covenant with Animals (it's available through PETA) wrote the foreword. I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
