Heirloom Tomato Tasting Party at Picchetti's Winery in Cupertino Sat 24th Sept

Those of you who are tomato nuts or interested in learning more about heirloom tomatoes - their flavors and how to grow and cook them might be interested in going to the third annual Tomatobash this Saturday, September 24th at Picchetti's Winery. The blurb goes thusly:
TomatoBash - Third Annual Heirloom Tomato Tasting Party
Please join us fellow foodie and gardening enthusiast for our third annual organic heirloom tomato tasting party and nonprofit benefit at the Picchetti Winery! The Greensteaders nonprofit will be serving 50 or so of the best varieties of heirloom tomatoes for eating, growing, & seed saving, all sourced from local farms & gardens. All colors & flavors will be sampled! Ranging from Jersey Devils, Green Zebras to Cherokee Purples; From cherries, slicers & pastes; And from yellows, whites, pinks, purples, greens & reds, bi & tri-colors. There will be gourmet finger foods by local chefs, live music & wine (for sale by Piccetti). Heirloom growing and cooking advice and tactics will be shared.
No charge if you bring us three varieties of heirloom tomatoes from your garden and help us slice them! Space is limited, so reserve a spot now!
