DC Winter Restaurant Week [RW] is back!:

* Officially runs Feb 4 - 10 [some places will extend the deal beyond these dates]
* 3-course fixed-price dinner special for $35 [not including drinks, and our required 30% tax / tip]

So, the minimum cost for the deal is $46 [drinks, wine/beer, and any extras items are additional and still factors our 30% tax/tip.]

By attending the event, each member agrees to this $ minimum. CASH PREFERRED PLEASE!

Food is regional French fare. In past restaurant week periods they typically provide a fixed menu with about 5 - 6 options per course. Expect a diverse selection of meats, fish and a veggie option. Good French wines here as well. For desserts, consider their souffles!

  • Soup of the Day
  • Boston and Endive Salad w/ Lemon-Dijon Vinaigrette
  • Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Terrine
  • Venison Sausage on a Bed of Lentils w/ a Red Wine Sauce

Service here can be considered European: typically formal / proper, paced slowly and unobtrusive. Assume business casual is the dress code when dining here.

For those new to La Bergerie, the restaurant is semi-tucked away on a 2nd floor of a historic brick warehouse. This place is about ambience.

==> Tax/Tip combo is our standard 30% [see the FAQs for more details]

See you there!

  • King Street Metro [Yellow and Blue Lines]. The restaurant is by the Potomac Riverfront on other side of Old Town.
  • Take the FREE King Street Trolley DASH bus from the metro to the Potomac Riverfront (runs every 15 minutes till 10:15pm). PDF Map of route is available!

For directions using the Metro, try using the Trip Planner at the WMATA website.

PARKING: Garage parking across the street (enter at 220 N. Union St.) and surface lot around the corner in the 200 block of Queen St.

La Bergerie partially-validates $2 for the Garage which is half the evening rate (the day rate is higher), so ask for this if not offered.

1. Limited to 6 slots.

2. If you RSVP "YES" please make sure you can definitely make it. With 3,600+ members and limited seating, we cannot afford no-shows. It's unfair to the other members who would like to attend and also to the organizers who have to explain to the restaurant why the reserved # of guests didn't show (can damage our reputation). No-Show rules apply.

3. Event already full?, waitlist for the event!. Use the Waitlist option (the Organizer for each event will enable this as needed). Also, check back regularly as attendees have been known to cancel up to Noon the day of the event.

4. Billing (add 30% tax/tip to your bill). Remember, include the required 30% for tip / tax in addition to the food / beverages you order as defined in our FAQs.

5. NEW MEMBERS or 1st TIME EVENT GO-ERS, if you have questions about the group, RSVPs, or the overall dining event process, visit our FAQs and our No-Show Policy.

Very sorry I could not get there this evening. Coming from the center of Bethesda & on the beltway, the traffic was so clogged that I would not get there before dinner was nearly over. So I gave up & returned home. Hope everyone has great dinner.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
