SPECIAL RULE FOR RSVPing to the Tosca 5/2 and Proof 5/4 EVENTS:

Members can ONLY select ONE event to RSVP for (between the Tosca  5/2 and the Proof 5/4 events). No double-dipping i.e. attending both, (RSVPs may be adjusted by Orgs if needed) ...  we'd like to provide more members a chance at attending.

Please be considerate & only RSVP 'YES' for one of these mini-events

Guest Host Tonya is running a dinner event (thanks Tonya!). She's going to a favorite win-centric place that offers very nice quality foodie dishes. She's going to Proof for a small-plate noshing / wine sloshing meal.

Rated: Top 100 in 2014's Washingtonian's Very Best (and 2013, 2012, ans so on)

FOOD: Eclectic / Creative Modern. Chef Haidar Karoum presides over a kitchen serving up diverse styles and preparations of dishes. Many are in the creative and modern mode. Quite good is the food here but "fit for foodies" comes to mind. You'll find Veal Sweetbreads to Crispy Pig's Head just on the 1st course menu alone.

Proof is known to have some of the very best wine lists in the region, but their cocktail program is no slouch either. Many dishes aren't huge portions per se, but are very well executed with a focus on texture & flavor (to go well with a great libation, ask the server for a recommendation to pair).

SPACE: Dimly lit and somewhat modern, the goal is to accentuate the experience on the food and experience.

==> Tax/Tip combo is our required 30% tax/tip policy ( see the FAQs for more details)
==> Limited to 9 slots

Entrance: on G Street between 13th and 14th Streets, NW

Need to Contact the Restaurant? [i.e. confirm location, notify to the group if running late, etc.]. Text on your phone to 466453 (GOOGLE) and type the restaurant name + the city/state in the message body. Google Business Services will text you back with the address and phone #!

1. Limited to 9 slots.

2. If you RSVP "YES" please make sure you can definitely make it. With 3,900+ members and limited seating, we cannot afford no-shows. It's unfair to the other members who would like to attend and also to the organizers who have to explain to the restaurant why the reserved # of guests didn't show (can damage our reputation). No-Show rules apply.

3. Event already full?, waitlist for the event!. Use the Waitlist option (the Organizer for each event will enable this as needed). Also, check back regularly as attendees have been known to cancel up to Noon the day of the event.

4. Billing (add 30% tax/tip to your bill). Remember, include the required 30% for tip / tax in addition to the food / beverages you order as defined in our FAQs.

5. NEW MEMBERS or 1st TIME EVENT GO-ERS, if you have questions about the group, RSVPs, or the overall dining event process, visit our FAQs and our No-Show Policy.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
