Sooooo, my turn is Turkey Day week. In the past I'd do an alternate event (happy hour, something), but I thought why not squeeze a brunch the Sunday before?

We have haven't done a brunch in ages, and to make this easy let's shoot for a place that offers a great a la carte menu with tasty libations for those inclined. We're heading back to Dino in Cleveland Park ... this time for brunch.

************
WRINKLE! This Brunch event will have a $5 bottomless mimosa / bloody mary / or non-alcoholic beverage REQUIREMENT. Served 'table-style'.

By attending, you fully agree to the $5 drink requirement.  Doubt this will be an issue for most (lol), but just in case :)

************

FOOD:  Dino does "italian-inspired" for brunch, and as usual there's plenty of options on their menu. A nice touch is that Dino offers dishes which are gluten-free and vegetarian friendly (just look at the online menu, they're noted).

For starters, some of Dino's tasty dinner dishes are available, such as the Burrata and Asian Pear & Crispy Truck Patch Pork Belly. Some entree dishes to consider are the Spiced Nutella Stuffed French Toast (veggie friendly), a Grilled Roseda "Breakfast" Sirloin & Egg, San Benedetto -- a great Italian version of Eggs Benedict, Wild Boar Pappardelle, the huge 10oz Dino Burger (no really, this is one of my favorite burgers in DC metro), and customized Omelets.

==> Checkout a recent Brunch menu (click on the 'Brunch' tab in the center)

Dino offers for brunch a bottomless mimosa & bloody deal (NOTE: this event does require a $5 participation, non-alcoholic is available for those inclined). One thing I appreciate is that Dino uses a quality Prosecco for their mimosas (not bottom of the barrel like some others).

Otherwise, there's good bellinis here too but you'll need to pay for those individually (NOT part of the bottomless deal, & you'll still need to pay for the $5 deal regardless).

SPACE: Nice enough neighborhood space (we'll be on the 2nd floor with our size). Can be a bit chatty though if the place is crowded (hey ... it's brunch!).

==> Visit Dino's website for more information

+++++++++

==> Tax/Tip combo is our standard 30% (see the FAQs for more details)
==> No Guests (have your friends join, it's free!)
==> Limited to 18 slots

See you there!

CLOSEST METRO: Cleveland Park (Red Line)

Dino is located about 100 ft. from the Metro exit, across the street from the Uptown movie theater. Same side as Palena, Ardeo, Bardeo. Take the 'RIGHT' exit at the split, after the escalators.

For directions using the Metro, try using the Trip Planner at the WMATA website.

PARKING: No Valet Parking is available. It's Sunday so free metered street parking & not impossible to park in the surrounding neighborhood.

Need to Contact the Restaurant? [i.e. confirm location, notify to the group if running late, etc.]. Text on your phone to[masked] (GOOGLE) and type the restaurant name + the city/state in the message body. Google Business Services will text you back with the address and phone #!

************************************

1. Limited to 18 slots.

2. If you RSVP "YES" please make sure you can definitely make it. With 3,400+ members and limited seating, we cannot afford no-shows. It's unfair to the other members who would like to attend and also to the organizers who have to explain to the restaurant why the reserved # of guests didn't show (can damage our reputation). No-Show rules apply.

3. Event already full?, waitlist for the event!. Use the Waitlist option (WAITLISTERS: Respond to my emails ASAP when you get them). Also, check back regularly as attendees have been known to cancel up to Noon the day of the event.

4. Billing (add 30% tax/tip to your bill). Remember, include the required 30% for tip / tax in addition to the food / beverages you order as defined in our FAQs.

5. NEW MEMBERS or 1st TIME EVENT GO-ERS, if you have questions about the group, RSVPs, or the overall dining event process, visit our FAQs and our No-Show Policy.

    Good brunch! Wow, a ton of 1st and 2nd timers attended which is always nice to see. Good use of the $5 mimosa / bloody deal too lol. Enjoyed my House-Corned Roseda Brisket Hash & Eggs, tasty. Easy event to do
