Announcing a new Meetup for Third Tuesday Calgary!

What: Case Studies: How Two Calgary Charities Use Social Media

When: April 20,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: This month's "Third Tuesday - Calgary" is actually on a third Monday. :)

We're pleased to have two local Calgary charities presenting social media case studies.

Calgary Reads and Brown Bagging It for Calgary?s Kids will each give a short presentation on how each organization is using social media to connect directly with the public. Structured as an open conversation, each organization will focus on how they are using social media in the achievement of their organization?s mandates, be it through: public awareness, outreach, fund raising or volunteer recruitment.

Our presenters are Bob McInnis (@brownbaggingit), the executive director of Brown Bagging It for Calgary?s Kids, and Doug Lacombe (@dblacombe), the social media project manager for @CalgaryReads' annual book sale.

Brown Bagging It for Calgary?s Kids addresses the critical problem of under nourished-children and Calgary Reads is early literacy initiative that changes the lives of struggling grade two readers and their families in Calgary.

See you there!
