I like the immediacy of the communication and the potential for mass sharing of information, particularly between consumers and everyday citizens. I regularly use social media on projects connecting neighbourhoods and for building cost-effective "invisible" institutional infrastructure for non-profits organizations. Facebook, Twitter, and GoogleDocs are my current friends. Not a huge fan of blogging - I prefer tweeting and Facebook posting. Looking for new ways to push the boundaries and improve the reach of my communications work with social media tools.
