For the past two years, David Jones and Terry Fallis have recorded the Inside PR podcast every week without fail. That's 104 episodes without a single missed week. And throughout this time, they've enlightened and entertained us with news, insight and humorous reflections on social media and the world of public relations and corporate communications. David and Terry were also among the original group of Third Tuesday Toronto organizers, along with Ed Lee and Chris Clarke. So, what better way to kick off the Inside PR's third year of podcasts than by recording Episode 105 live at Third Tuesday Toronto. Join Terry, David and their guest panelists for the recording of the 105th. episode of Inside PR. Bring your questions and comments and plan to participate in what should be a fun and memorable podcast. As always, a special note of thanks to our sponsors, CNW Group. CNW covers the hard costs of Third Tuesdays, making it possible for us to stage these events free of charge to participants. Thank you CNW!

I thought that Third Tuesday was fun. Got a chance to meet up with some buddies from Centennial's corporate communications and pr program. Had an opportunity to chat with Martin Waxman (he was a guest speaker at Centennial) and finally got reacquainted with Jose Leol (worked with him at Sun Media). The Inside PR panel group were engaging and the talk was informative.

My first meeting and it was enlightening to listen to the differing opinions about social media. Just a thought. Alvin Adams said, "Public relations are a key component of any operation in this day of instant communications and rightly inquisitive citizens." This was in the mid-18oos.

I enjoyed the discussion, but the topic wasn't that appealing to me. I think Julie Rusciolelli hit the nail on the head early - whoever has the best campaign should get the job, whether they're PR or marketing.

the show has improved with the broader panel but I think the panel would benefit from a moderator who would stir the debate

I really enjoyed the format of the podcast and meetup. I was able to listen to excellent opinion and able to contribute as well. I wish I had brought a friend along, however, as I didn't know anyone else there.

It was great, could have gone on much longer, but for the sake of the podcast listeners, it's best to keep it under the hour. I look forward to more live IPRs in the future.

Very much enjoyed it. Thanks to all for making a Halifax guy feel more than welcome - wonderful stuff, that.

I thought it was a great idea. I actually suggested the same on the comment line after hearing the Centennial episode but my comment was lost.

Well, I'd never been involved in one so I'm glad I went. I thought they goofed around too much though. You've got our attention folks; leverage it. I think the speakers should have explained the differences between how PR and ad agencies approached social media instead of bickering about who owned the space. Not everyone is from your respective fish bowls. The ad agency lady seemed threatened and defended her industry's approach with zeal; too much though. Not necessary.
    1) Value to the customer is #1, 2) The Third Tuesday collective is an intelligent one so explanations and proof statements carry the day, not bluster.

Knowledgable speakers, whose comments were served up with humility and humour. Can't beat that.
