This is a combined meetup like our Holiday meetup in December... Only without the snow!

7 - count 'em 7 - meetups all rolled into one summer social mixer! It doesn't get much more efficient than this.

Groups: Third Tuesday Meetup, The Vancouver Sales Performance Meetup, Vancouver Blogger's Meetup the Real Estate Technology Meetup, Young Professionals Meetup, Wordpress Meetup and the Vancouver Entrepreneur Meetup Group.

Many of these Meetups share the same members and same goals; to help people connect, share best practices and create community. This is an event in addition to your regular meetup and has a slightly different format. We expect 400 + people to attend and would appreciate your RSVP asap.

If you are a member of more than one of these Meetups you are going to get more than one invite and reminder. Simply RSVP yes to one and no to the rest to stop the multiple messages.

  “ It was packed with people, and I didnt get to meet as many people as I would like. It was a great event to have, since it's not easy to find many of these in Vancouver. Please have more! Perhaps a little chaotic and it was hard to find the table with the nametags. ”

  “ I think the groups that participated were in two camps that were far too distinct. I really didn't enjoy being courted by business people; I'd rather talk to people about their personal interests. I wound up having awkward conversations or non-conversations with people who appeared to have nothing in common with me. It was a "where do you work?" kind of scene rather than "what do you write about" and while they can converge, I was expecting to be "promoting" my own brand. It was far too crowded and loud which made it difficult to talk to more people. I left having made one really solid connection, which is fabulous, but it was very exhausting. I would suggest next time to separate the entrepreneur types from the bloggers and social media types (except where individuals overlap). Third Tuesday + Net Tuesday + Bloggers + Designers would have been a more intriguing mix and friendlier vibe, I think. I was really turned off by the business networking. ”
