We have an opportunity to help Giving A Hand, Inc. this Saturday.
Who is Giving A Hand, Inc???
"Our Daily Mission is to make an impact in the community by giving a hand to those who help others", such as teachers.
Is a non-profit organization that provides other non-profit agencies, church communities and public schools with Office supplies, Medical supplies, Food, Clothing, Furniture, printers, cleaning supplies, almost anything Staples sells.
(I found this charity by chance. If you are a teacher or someone who knows a teacher who has to buy their own office supplies, this is a must!!)
We need 20-25 reliable people who has 5 full hours available to help clear out portions of their warehouse in order for them to have the room to receive more merchandise. Staples is a huge sponsor of this organization. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, they receive a truck load of donated merchandise. There are so many items, I can't list them all.
I found a new $225 leather office chair for $50.
See below about the $50 credit we each receive for helping........
What will we be doing on the 26th of April? 10am-3pm
We will help separate, sort & discard broken items that they have collected. (Not heavy items.)
If it is cool, Bring warm clothing because we will be in a warehouse.
Very easy to find.....off of 285 on the west side of town, I 20 West to the first exit, make a left at the light and go about 2.5 miles, you will see on the left, an office complex by the name of Prologis, turn left into there. First building on the right, warehouse is behind that building.
((For anyone volunteering, they are offering a pizza, snacks & soft drinks for lunch, plus to each person, a $50 credit to almost anything in their warehouse.
You must be there the full 5 hours to receive the $50 credit.))
If you have any questions, please email me at [masked] or you can contact Delores, from Giving a Hand, at [masked]
We need 20-25 reliable people. Please, no, no shows!
You will not regret finding this place!!!
