More about Janiah?

At the beginning of this year, Janiah Maddox, a beautiful and happy one year old little girl, was diagnosed with Kaposiform hemangio-endothelioma. Because of this rare and horrible disease, the doctors have had to amputate little Janiah?s legs and are are possibly going to have to amputate her fingers as well.

February of this year, Janiah?s mother Nicole, had to take a leave of absence from her job in order to be with Janiah, as she battles this rare disease. As a result, there is minimal income coming into the home and it is unknown when Nicole will be able to return to work. In the meantime, organizations in the area are assisting with transportation and housing costs but there is so much more help needed.

Kaposiform hemangio-endothelioma is a rare blood vessel tumor that occurs primarily in children. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), Kaposiform hemangio-endothelioma is classified as a rare disease, which means it affects less than .0647% of the US population.

Riders, please register below if you did not pay at the leasing office. Everyone can also make a donation to this great cause below. The largest donors will be invited to follow the riders in one of our RVs, and participate in our pre and post ride activities at no charge, which will include a poolside cookout and party!

You may also sign up for the pool party and cookout on the Atlanta Fundraising Foundation Website.

Atlanta Fundraising Foundation will present a check to the cause at the end of the ride. Please help us make it a VERY LARGE one!

Thanks in advance for your generous donations!
