Hiking Hikers Hiking Group“ The REI meetups are great because they provide field practical information of what is is that you are going to really encouter out there - from venomous reptiels, to how to lighten the load for a several day backpack trip, to what one would experience in a raft ride down the Colorado Rive through the Grand Canyon. Each of the REI meetups I have attended have been very intersting as well as educating - with enthused presenters that obviously love what they do. So I reccommend to everybody to attend any one of these REI presentations if they can make the time. And the time slots - at 6:30pm to 8pm - are convenient for everybody to be able to make it after work. ”
