Got the Monday blahs? Need a little pick me up, to get through the rest of the week? Come for a hike on Pass Mountain Trail at Usery Park. We will be hiking from the Meridian trail head, up to the saddle on the Pass Mountain Trail and back. We should have more shade, on this side of the mountain. The hike is about 4 miles, in length. This will be a relatively fast paced hike, since it's getting dark early these days. Please bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a hat, a flashlight and your after work energy! I will send an e-mail, to those signed up for the hike, with my cell number, the day before the hike.

Carpool location: There is no need for a carpool location, since parking on Meridian is free. From the 202, take Brown Road east to Meridian. Head north on Meridian, to the end of the road. Park in the dirt parking lot. If you need assistance, finding the trail head, please e-mail me before the hike, and I will assist you, any way I can. Please meet at 5:45PM, so we can start the hike promptly at 6PM. Look for my older model burgundy Chevy Tahoe.

    •  Good time! The slightly monsoony sky was incredible!
    •  The cloud cover and the stiff breeze made the hike bearable. The light rain was nice coming back down from the saddle. But the sunset, ah that was simply brilliant! Hopefully, someone will post their pictures. Thanks for joining me everyone.
