The next 0.8 miles climbs a series of switchbacks to the top of Wasson Peak, elevation 4,687, the highest point in the Tucson Mountains. On our return, we will take the King Canyon Trail and stop at Mam-A-Gah Picnic Area named after a Tohono O'odham Indian Chief for a picnic lunch!
