Monday Morning 32nd st south of Shea

Sondra is leading a hike in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve at 32nd Street south of Shea Blvd. This is a hike that will start at the 32nd street park entrance and will begin the loop on the 100 trail then continue to the 1A trail, to the 304 trail then return via 8 trail to the 100 trail back to 32nd street. The parking area is small here.

The trail is less traveled here. The beginning of the hike is relatively flat but you start to climb near Piestawa area. You will have a good workout with this hike but it's not difficult. The hike is approximately 4 miles.

This is an INTERMEDIATE hike. Be sure you evaluate your abilities and plan accordingly.

Be sure to BRING & DRINK plenty of water. The hike is approximately 2 hrs long. We are still experiencing High Heat so water & electrolytes are critical.

Thanks Sondra for being so delicate to hiking and not cancelling the hike. Get well soon. :-)

    Hi Sondra.
    Great hike last night. Thanks.
I see this hike starts at 7:00 AM, what is the approximate end time? Also, would you or the rest of the hikers consider starting a little earlier, many 6:30?

Hi Vickie, glad you enjoyed the hike last night. As for the Monday morning one I lead, it is a 2 hour hike and a little more on the intermediate side. 7 am is as good as it gets for me...sorry - not much of a morning person. :)

Thanks for the info Sondra. I won't be able to do this one with it being a 2 hour hike. I'll see you on the trails sometime soon.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
