This website is for 2012, but we'll use it as a guide for training for 2013.
We plan to complete all seven today; that means we'll keep a brisk pace. Please understand if we cannot wait for slower hikers. Not recommended for beginners - you want to be very fit for these.

6:00 am (ack!) First Leg and Second Leg: Summit #1: Holbert Trail Head to Dobbins Lookout: 1000 ft elevation gain; 4++ miles return. To find the trailhead, turn left right after the gate and follow the road to just about the end - GO PAST THE EDUCATION CENTER. Near the washrooms - look for my red lexus. Summit #2: Las Lomitas/Ranger/National: 1000 ft elevation gain: 4+ miles return
10:00 am Third & Fourth Legs: Summit #3: Piestawa Peak: 1190 ft elevation gain; 2.5 miles return and Summit #4: Mojave 308 ft elevation gain; 1.2 miles return.
12:00 noon: Fifth Leg: Lookout Mountain:3.2 miles and 475 ft gain
2:00 pm: Sixth and Seventh Legs: North Mountain: 2.3 miles and 614 ft gain and
Shaw Butte: 5.2 miles and 670 ft gain
5:00 pm: Finish!!! Time for pizza, beer, and cool pool:)
Total: 22-23 miles
