Great group and hike! Thank you, Hiking Hikers. Question to the group?! Can hiking be glamorous?

    • Chip

Yes hiking can be glamorous, remind me to tell you the "headlamp" story next week.

"DIFFICULT - VERY FAST PACED HIKE" in red. - but welcome to all the new comers, we have some hikers that are fast and some slow, it's a good group. (and I think it has been a month since we lost anyone in the desert)

New to the group. Arriving in PHX in late August. Quick question: what MPH doe you consider "very fast paced"

    July 26, 2013

    • Mike

We have a speed limit and we double the fines if they are exceeded

      July 27, 2013

    • Evan A.

We tend to spread out on the trail over the course of the hike, and wait at the rough half way point for the trailing groups. 3.5 - 4.5 mph is a good range.
