Monday Morning 32nd st south of Shea

Sondra is leading a hike in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve at 32nd Street south of Shea Blvd. This is a hike that will start at the 32nd street park entrance and will begin the loop on the 100 trail then continue to the 1A trail, to the 304 trail then return via 8 trail to the 100 trail back to 32nd street. The parking area is small here.

The trail is less traveled here. The beginning of the hike is relatively flat but you start to climb near Piestawa area. You will have a good workout with this hike but it's not difficult. The hike is approximately 4 miles.

This is an INTERMEDIATE hike. Be sure you evaluate your abilities and plan accordingly.

Be sure to BRING & DRINK plenty of water. The hike is approximately 2 hrs long. We are still experiencing High Heat so water & electrolytes are critical.

I missed it too. Sorry, I meant to cancel early early Monday morning when I knew it wasn't going to happen but sleep finally came knocked me out cold.

I am so sorry I didn't make it. Was up until 3am and needed sleep. I am not use to getting up that early as I am always up late working. Sorry, I was disappointed in myself!
