Shadow Mountain

This is a short but rugged and interesting loop right in the heart of uptown; a long neglected and barely marked trail system. We will enter from the West side of this small Mtn Park and climb up, then move North along a beautiful ridge, then follow around the East and South sides to return to parking. Although it is short, this loop is steep in places and sometimes loose.

East to West is the steepest way I've ever climbed it and I've climbed Fouteeners. The only thing is, there is absolutely no place to park. I have walked there from my house. At one time I had to be on all fours it was so steep and narrow. These days my arthritis doesn't allow me to keep up with anyone. You guys sure get a lot of exercise.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
