Hi kids this hike is a complete redo of Gary and Darci's hike from last weekend (read the reviews from past meet-up section). I have some friends that want to see the Peralta area and are new or have not hiked much so this is a good chance for anyone that missed last weekend to have a second chance at this hike..
The format is the same, an in and out to the saddle, about 4 miles round trip.. There are some rocks, switchbacks, etc. as this is not a groomed trail, however I would rate this as a beginner trail..
The hike start time is 9:00 a.m. so be there early as this is when we leave.. You may have to park further down the road!
WELL BEHAVED DOGS are always welcome however if your dog growls, snaps, bites, jumps, etc. on other dogs and or people or is otherwise ill behaved I must ask that you leave him home this is not a training class...........
Directions: go out hwy 60 past Apache Junction, past Gold Canyon to the Peralta Trailhead sign, turn left and go 5-7 miles on improved dirt road that can be a little rough.. Cars can make it o.k. just drive slow..
