Introduction

Reformed semi-recluse looking to hike/backpack/explore with other outdoor enthusiasts while observing more of the flora, fauna and geology of Arizona. Oh yea, and meet people.

Is there a trail you would enjoy hiking with the group?

Yes! Trails with dirt, rocks, trees, bugs, boulders, plants, and a few people are preferred. Water is optional.

Do you have a particular hiking goal?

Build endurance, increase speed. Hike until I'm in my eighties without breaking any bones or falling to my death.

Would you be willing to MEET & GREET or LEAD a hike?

You want me to do WHAT???!!! Oh, wait. I already do that!

Where are some places you have hiked?

Grand Canyon, Four Peaks, Supes, Flat Iron, Havasu Falls to mention a few. Also, New Zealand, Switzerland, India, and the list goes on.

What is your favorite trail?

Can't tell you! That's where all the bodies of littering, trail-cutting, orange peel-dropping, thoughtless hikers are buried!

"The first time I hiked Four Peaks I witnessed an awesome aerial display by a Black Hawk. When I returned home I related the story to my boys. They leaned in, eyes wide with anticipation as I spoke, but promptly (and disappointedly) returned to their game once they realized that I was talking about the bird and NOT the helicopter!"
