Introduction to Tibetan Buddhist Meditation: Calm & Clear

Lama Jigme, spiritual director, Orgyan Osal Cho Dzong Buddhist Temple and Retreat Centre, will be giving an ongoing series of talks on the theory and practice of Buddhist meditation, focusing on mindfulness of the breath to still the mind, and the utilization of this mental quiescence to develop insight into the nature of the self, the world and one's inherent Buddha Nature. Each evening will consist of a talk and will be followed by meditation instruction and practice.

Hi Sonam - weekly practice sessions would be ideal but unfortunately Lama Jigme's teaching schedule and responsibilities means that he's only able to make it in to Toronto to teach once a month at present.
However, he is hoping to increase that to twice a month. Our long-term goal is to establish a teaching center in Toronto as well. You are also welcome to attend weekend sessions at the Temple. Please visit our website at for more info
