General Meeting: Understanding Special Education

  • August 26, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

In June 2014, Autism Society Staff with other local parents in the area were able to attend the Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center's (peatc) 2014 Parents as Collaborative Leaders Training.

The group of parents who attended learned some valuable information about Understanding Special Education. Upon completion of the training, participants were given permission to take the information learned from PEATC and continue on their mission of educating other parents.

Join us as parents of children with autism from young to adult give you a brief presentation of the basics of Understanding Special Education.

Free childcare is available for this meeting and you must contact us at (757)[masked] to RSVP no later than August 22nd.

RSVP is preferred for attending this meeting but is not required.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
