What, more than anything, do you feel is keeping the Libertarian Party from breaking into politics on the national level?

I believe that fear of the unknown is keeping the Libertarian Party from breaking into national level politics. It seems that people don't like to leave what they have known and are comfortable with on any level, especially when it comes to the defining parts of who they are (paradigms, religion, politics, etc.), so for them, it is just easier to stay where they are and not attempt to find another option. Additionally, I think there is a lack of knowledge on the whole and if more people knew exactly what Libertarians believed, they would join the party in a heartbeat!

Are you a member of the Libertarian Party?

Hi! I'm a "new" Libertarian as I was introduced to it by both my father and husband. I never dove into politics before finding this party because the rest just made me angry. I'm proud to call myself a Libertarian!
