I am planning a day trip to St. Jacob's. It is a quaint village just North of Kitchener/Waterloo. About an hour and a half drive from Toronto. The market ends at 3:00 pm so, we would like to get there early. We should be back in town in time for those who would like to attend the weekly language event.
We are limited by the number of cars going. So far we have 4 cars going.
We will be splitting the cost of gasoline. I estimate $8.00-$10.00 per person. Driver's will be reimbursed for fuel.
Here is some more information: http://www.stjacobs.com/
*** We will be meeting at 2 locations: Finch station at the passenger Pick Up area and Kipling station at the "old" passenger Pick Up area at 8:15. The building is round at both stations. Gary Wan will be at Kipling station and I will be at Finch.***
If someone else is willing to drive please let me know how many people you are willing to take.
Please let us know which station you would like to be picked up at on your RSVP so, we know you are coming. If we don't know and you are not there, we cannot keep on waiting.
Also, I will be driving straight to the regular weekly Language Exchange event afterwards. Please state where you would prefer to be dropped off as well, Finch station, Kipling station or downtown.
Note, since this is an event that requires a lot more preparation, a "No Show" to this event will count as 2 strikes against your attendance record.
I have set it so, you can only RSVP on the "Waiting List". I will move members to the "going" list 1) if there is space and 2) after you send me a message with answers to these questions:
1) Where will you meet us? Finch or Kipling station?
2) Do you have a car and can drive people?
2a) If you do, how many people, including yourself, can you take?
3) Where would you like to be dropped off after the event? Finch station? Kipling station? Downtown?
4) Do you understand if you are a "No Show" to this event, it counts as 2 strikes (Yes or No).
5) Do you have a Metropass (in case we can't drive everyone downtown).
You can send me a message by going to my profile and hitting the "send email" link.
