I never consistently voted for one party over another until joining the Libertarians.
Unfortunately, it was through the New Republic article about the somewhat racist newsletters published in the 1980's. The article was harshly critical, of Paul and the Liberty movement. While I agrees that Ron should have kept a closer eye on his typists, I thought that the other criticisms in the article were overblown. In fact, they described some of Dr. Paul's opinions so precisely that I wanted to learn more about him, and was pleasantly surprised with what I found.
Hello, I'm the current Tarrant County Libertarian Party Chair. I came into the Liberty movement via the writing of Milton Friedman, Thomas Sowell, and Henry Hazlitt. I always believed that Ron Paul was the leading champion of those ideas.
