I am an American from New Jersey living in Saitama, the New Jersey of Japan. I'm an English teacher by profession.
I have noticed that I have a bit of a performing bug. I'm also interested in the creative process, so I would like to give improv a try. I also want to improve my presentation skills as a way to keep my students from falling asleep in class.
Really, really, really anything.

I've really enjoyed working with this group. First of all, Chris is a great teacher - patient, welcoming, and kind. On my first day there I was not nervous because of the way he runs the class. He encourages everyone to have positive thinking as well. The class is fun and moves so fast that I wish it would last longer than 2 hours. The other students in the class are also creative, bright, and interesting. I've had a lot of fun taking this class. I'm sad that I can't continue with it in the fall because of my Wednesday night teaching schedule, but I hope to work with everyone again in the future. I've learned a great deal about creating scenes and characters and also how "funniness" arises from the situation on stage and not just jokes. I feel that I was just getting started, so I hope to continue with improv the next chance I get. Thanks! -E
